GHICHA TUSSAR SILK; Comes from Jharkhand in eastern India, where silk weaving is a centuries-old tradition. Unlike the smooth finish of regular Tussar, Gachi silk is spun from shorter threads left behind during reeling, giving it a beautifully rustic, textured look. Its natural charm and durability make it a favourite for those who love fabrics with character.
THE STORY:
A master weaver at a young age. Arun shows off an amazing traditional handloom collection with creative flair based on skills passed on from his father and elder brother, Kachchh, India. Arun started learning and applying new skills at a very young age. Then went on to study further in 2015 at a handloom school in Maheshwar for 3 intensive months.
Arun continued to refine his skills professionally by creating special wool “Dhabla” (blankets). He has gradually expanded into working with a variety of fibres such as many forms of wool, cotton, silk and linen yarns and creates unique shawls, stoles, scarves, woven fabric, saree and much more.

CARE SUGGESTIONS:
Handwash separately in cold water using a gentle liquid detergent. Let it soak for up to 5 mins without agitation. Slowly wring, do not twist. Repeat if necessary. Dry in the shade, away from heat and pets. Iron on the back at low to medium heat.
