THE STORY:
Excited to announce Far East Weavers’ collaboration with Namrata Shah. A multi talented creative as she’s gained a fruitful 5 years of first hand experience within the handloom industry after completing her education in Textile Design in Bangalore, India.
Namrata’s philosophy for Two Up Two Down is to create unique handcrafted textiles by practicing and applying principles of sustainability. She empowers women from various walks of life by giving them the opportunity to become better versions of themselves.
One of her signature styles include marrying the Shibori technique with hand embroidery and block printing. She is currently working on her newest technique called ‘Eco Printing’ it being a process 100% true to nature.

PACKAGING:
Far East Weavers' is part of Recycle, Reduce & Reuse movement and our mission is to keep any single use packaging to the minimal. A small step in the right direction. I am pleased to announce our new Plastic Free packaging made from 100% post-consumer recycled content and environmentally friendly inks. You can home compost these entirely. Instructions are provided on how to biodegrade them properly.
Internal packaging of our Shibori x Eco Print Collection, special pouches have been made for keepsakes, so NOTHING is thrown away that will end up in our oceans that will harm our sea creatures or end up in landfills. May I kindly request that you recycle any of our packaging responsibly.
CARE SUGGESTIONS:
Keep away from heat and fire. Not to be soaked in water, gently wipe away any stains with a non coloured cloth soaked in a mixture of gentle liquid detergent and water. Dab off residue with kitchen towel or dry cloth.

As the pandemic evolves, I am taking all necessary precautions in accordance with the government’s guidelines.
