Each handwoven wrap is from Kutch, Gujarat, each one is unique as a weaver hand weaves his own signature pattern and symbol creating a beautiful, lightweight but warm work of art.

Wagad Cotton also known as Kala Cotton as you may be familiar with is rain-fed, resilient to pests and diseases and requires very little care. It was once losing its significance due to being overshadowed by other cotton varieties.

The ‘by default organic’ Wagad Cotton now has an organic certification and was branded as Kala Cotton in 2010.

Both Women and Men can enjoy it. Many join the path to revival of sustainable clothing and make a conscious decision to wear what matters, to cherish the old world crop and its true art form.
